Carnaval - Entrada Universitaria
Ch’alla on Shrove Tuesday, Jisk’a Anata and Chuguiagu Anata are festivities represented by the traditional characters pepino and chu’ta cholero it. After the festivals people choose the Ñusta and King Pepino. The university parade is a folk music and dance activity that forms part of the July festivals.

Curva Apolobamba
Tilinhuaya and Yurax Uno, are communities that are visited very often by the by the tourists, from here extraordinary 5 day excursions can be organized to Lagunillas, Curva, Pelechuco and Agua Blanca.

Lagunillas
This community is located in The "Curva" area. It has been the source of the traditional medicine culture called "Kallawaya".

Takesi Trek
40 km. east of La Paz following the road to Ventilla and at the foot of the snow - covered mountains Mururata and Takesi, one can find the beautiful and important old road that joins the altiplano (highlands) with the warm valleys and the Amazon.

Muela del diablo
This is a popular trek for 1 day. It offers a spectacular view of the city and the mountains. You should go with a guide if you don’t know the way. This trek takes 5 hours. It is recommended that you bring some food, a hat and good boots.

Sajama
A National Park that offers many possibilities for trekking and seeing flora and fauna, vicuñas, alpacas and llamas. It’s at 6500 metres above sea - level.

Tiwanaku is the most important archaelogical site of Bolvia, located at 72 Kmm from La Paz city, it has important sites like the underground temple with its enigmatic wall-heads.

Coroico - Nor Yungas
96km. from La Paz is a subtropical valley with varied and abundant vegetation; spectacular views, coffee plantations, coca and citric fruits. It’s the most visited tourist destination of the Yungas. The Yungas are tropical and humid valleys with high mountains covered with dense vegetation and turbulent rivers running between them.

Chulumani - Sud Yungas
Chulumani is located about 119 km. from La Paz. While On the road you can see various ecological levels, from the Cordillera Real to the Semi-tropics. On the road there is a natural attraction called “el velo de la novia” or “the bride’s veil” which are water - falls.

Three hours from the city of La Paz you will find the beautiful and spectacular Titicaca lake (the highest in the world) with the islands of the sun and of the moon. Thanks to the many natural advantages for mankind, the Chiripa, Tiwanaku and the Inca Culture were established. The last was the most important ceremonial center. The landscape is spectacular, the waters of different colors, the cattail(Totora) reeds on its banks give it a majestic appearance.
